How rehabilitation works
The MIDAS programme is for adults. Individual and group sessions bring together work on dependent behaviour, managing emotions and difficulties in relationships.
From your first enquiry to everyday independence
Understanding your needs and planning
You and a specialist identify your needs, difficulties and goals. Sessions and an estimated duration are agreed on that basis.
Settling in and starting sessions
Regular meetings with a specialist begin. Group work is introduced when you are ready, focusing on habits, emotions and relationships.
Consolidating skills
You apply what you have learned in everyday situations. Sessions explore difficulties, situations that increase the risk of returning to dependent behaviour and ways of coping with them.
Preparing for independent life
You review changes with a specialist and plan how to maintain your skills in everyday life, when to ask for help and how to stay in contact after the programme.
How long does the programme take?
The length of your stay at the residence and the schedule for subsequent support are agreed separately.
Support after rehabilitation
The programme includes provision for continuing support: individual or group meetings, remote contact or participation in support groups. The appropriate format and schedule are agreed with you.
This period provides space to discuss everyday difficulties, the skills you have learned and whether further help is needed.
When MIDAS is not the right setting
A rehabilitation residence is not a place for emergency medical care. If there is an immediate risk to life or health, seek emergency help first.
Any required medical stage takes place at the MMS clinic before rehabilitation. Only the assessment decides whether it is needed; this page is not meant for self-assessment.
Let’s check suitability together
The conversation and assessment will show which direction fits.
